iKnow Touch Removed from App Store

Please forgive the late updated on this – iKnow Touch is no longer available on the app store.

iKnow Touch was removed voluntarily at the request of the data provider in order to be in compliance with their updated API Terms of Service.

In addition, any existing users of iKnow Touch please be aware that as of August 31st, 2010 the data provider will be terminating their public API which will render any online interaction unworkable and may adversely affect iKnow Touch in unknown ways after August 31st.

New Site Coming (Not So) Soon

I’ve been working hard on a new iPhone app which will launch soon. Along with it will be a new updated site. Check back soon!

UPDATE 7/21/2010: Sorry this ended up being not so soon. I have had some major personal and professional changes since this was originally posted late last year.

iKnow Touch 1.1 submitted to Apple – Now Available.

Update: iKnow Touch 1.1 is now on the App Store!

After a long and harrowing journey the update has finally been approved. Adds a few tweaks and fixes some bugs.

Recommended for all current users.

In preparation of the iKnow Touch app being in the app store finally I’ve setup a site specifically for the app.

I’ll be posting updates in both sites atleast until the app is available which will hopefully be soon once it passes inspection at Apple!

Smart.fm iPhone App Update

Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of updates recently. Although things have been quiet I’ve been hard at work on my smart.fm iPhone app. Since the last update the app has had a lot of polish, bug squashing and performance improvements.

I will be sending out final beta builds to my testers this afternoon and if no major issues arise I hope to submit the app to Apple for approval this weekend.

iKnow API Kickoff Challenge Award

On February 2nd 2009 there was a developers meetup at the iKnow offices, at the meeting I got the chance to present my application, and also got to see a lot of great things being built with the iKnow Developer API. On the night the winners of the API Kickoff contest that iKnow was running were announced. I was lucky enough to be chosen for 3rd place.

I can’t thank those guys enough for giving me the motivation to work on my first iPhone app as well as have the opportunity to get up and present my creation to a room of really smart, and talented people. Also thanks to all my friend in Tokyo for your support and for making my time in Tokyo the most amazing time in my life!

Current Project – Novita (iPhone App)

Novita is the code name for my iPhone App for iknow.co.jp users. With the application you are able to sign-in on your iPhone or iPod Touch and get access to your courses to study when you’re away from your computer.

Currently this project is in beta, if you’re interested drop me a line for a chance to help beta test this app and improve it in future released.
